‘Gemma Arterton,’ a British actress, has recently become a mother.
The Quantum of Solace actress revealed during The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show that she welcomed her first child during the holiday season.
Gemma Arterton Has Been A Mother
During this holiday season, Gemma and her husband, Rory Keenan, welcomed a baby boy to their family. In November, Gemma announced she was pregnant when she walked down the red carpet.
As Gemma explained on BBC Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, “I just had a baby, and I’m feeling amazing.” So, we are very, very happy. He was born just before Christmas. A little Christmas elf.” When Zoe told Gemma she looked utterly fabulous, she replied, “Thank you! That’s the power of the paintbrush!”
Gemma’s wedding was attended by Rory, the Peaky Blinders actor. She and Rory have been married for about three and a half years. This is their first child and their first child together. Two years ago, Arterton and Keenan met on the London stage of George Bernard Shaw’s play St. Joan, where they started their relationship. In September of 2019, Arterton and Keenan married in a secret ceremony in Ireland.

When she attended the Raindance Film Festival awards ceremony in November 2022, the Clash of the Titans actress walked the red carpet with her baby bump on display.
Arterton wore a black satin button-down shirt and a black high-waisted maxi skirt as she posed for photographs on the red carpet, displaying her growing baby bump.
As Arterton explained to The Telegraph, it is difficult to balance a career and a family. “I am a neurotic person and a worrier anyway, and I wonder, ‘When I have kids, will I still be able to handle everything?'”
In an interview with the outlet, she said, “My mom and grandmother didn’t work when we were kids, so that influenced me.”

Her roles include “Quantum of Solace,” “The Disappearance of Alice Creed,” and “Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.” Greater London, she was born in Gravesend, Kent. In her first film, she played a supporting role in “St Trinian’s,” a comedy film she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
