Meet The Cast Of Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Movie Series And Learn What They’re Up To Now

If you grew up in the early 2000s, you are likely familiar with the Diary of a Wimpy Kids cast movie series.

A cult classic among middle schoolers, the films follow Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) and his misadventures as he navigates through seventh grade.

As one of the first movies to make bullying its primary topic, this series has since become an iconic part of growing up for many teens.

Zachary Gordon – Greg Heffley

Zachary Gordon played the lead role of Greg Heffley in all three Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies.

He has also appeared in other films and television shows including National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, and Good Luck Charlie.

Gordon was born in Oak Park, California, and started his acting career at the age of eight.

In addition to his work in film and television, he has also done voice work for video games and animated series. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

Devon Bostick – Roderick

Devon Bostick played Roderick in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie series. He’s currently starring in the sci-fi series The 100, which is in its seventh season.

Bostick has also appeared in films like Saw VI, Adoration, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Rachael Harris – Susan Heffley

Rachael Harris is an American actress who is best known for her role as Susan Heffley, mother of the main character Greg, in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie series.

She has also appeared in such films as The Hangover, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind.Harris began her career in theatre, appearing in regional productions of The Fantasticks and Our Town.

She moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting, and appeared off-Broadway in such productions as The Vagina Monologues and Love, Loss, and What I Wore.

Harris made her television debut in 1995 with a guest appearance on the sitcom Mad About You. She has since appeared in numerous television shows, including The West Wing, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Damages, Suits, and New Girl.

Harris has also had a recurring role on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother as Robin Scherbatsky’s (Cobie Smulders) mother.

In addition to her work in film and television, Harris has also lent her voice to a number of animated shows and video games. She has had roles on American Dad!, Family Guy, The Simpsons, WordGirl, Adventure Time, Archer, and LEGO Dimensions.

Steve Zahn – Frank Heffley

Steve Zahn is an American actor known for his roles in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Rescue Dawn, and War for the Planet of the Apes.

He has been nominated for several awards throughout his career, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Born in Marshall, Minnesota, Zahn began his acting career in theater before making his film debut in 1992 with the comedy Encino Man.

 He has since appeared in over 50 films and television series. His other notable film credits include That Thing You Do! (1996), You’ve Got Mail (1998), Joy Ride (2001), National Security (2003), Sahara (2005), and A Perfect Getaway (2009).

On television, Zahn has had recurring roles on shows such as Enlightened (2011-2013) and Treme (2010-2013). He also starred in the short-lived series The Good Life (1994) and Friends with Benefits (2011).

Zahn will next be seen in the upcoming films The Crossbreed and Captain Marvel.

Connor Fielding – Manny Heffley

Connor Fielding, who played Manny Heffley in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie series, is now a 16-year-old high school student.

He recently spoke to reporters about what it was like to grow up on camera, saying that it was “a once in a lifetime experience.”

Connor also said that he’s grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such a great cast and crew, and that he’s excited to see what the future holds for him.

Peyton List – Holly Hills

Peyton List played the role of Holly Hills in Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. She was one of the most popular girls in school and always had her nose in the air.

Even though she was a bit stuck up, she was still a good friend to Greg Heffley.

After Diary of a Wimpy Kid, List continued to act and has starred in several movies and TV shows. Most recently, she appeared in The Outskirts and The Thinning.

She will also be appearing in the upcoming film, Ant-Man and The Wasp.

List is currently 22 years old and seems to have a very promising future ahead of her!

Karan Brar – Chirag Gupta

Karan Brar and Chirag Gupta played Rohan and Chirag, respectively, in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie series.

Both actors are of Indian descent and have continued to work in Hollywood since the films wrapped.

Brar has had roles on Jessie, Austin & Ally, and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. He’ll next be seen in the comedy film The Boss Baby: Family Business.

 Gupta has guest-starred on shows like NCIS: Los Angeles and iZombie. His most recent role was in the short film Mila.

Laine MacNeil – Rowley Jefferson

Laine MacNeil played Rowley Jefferson, Greg’s best friend, in all three Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. Rowley was always up for Greg’s hare-brained schemes, no matter how crazy they were.

Since wrapping up the Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise, Laine has starred in the TV movie R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About It and had a recurring role on the Syfy series Continuum. She also appeared in the 2016 film We Are Your Friends with Zac Efron.

Most recently, Laine has been starring in the Canadian TV series Odd Squad as Olive Dish. The show is about a team of kids who solve strange mysteries using math and science. It’s currently in its second season.

Zachary Gordon (Greg Heffley): Zachary Gordon has continued to work steadily in Hollywood since Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

He had a recurring role on the CW show iZombie and also appeared in the 2017 film 47 Meters Down. Most recently, he starred in the 2018 film The Pretenders.

Devon Bostick (Rodrick Heffley): Devon Bostick has also continued to work in Hollywood since his days as Rodrick Heffley. He had a starring role in the 2014 dystopian film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and also appeared in its sequel, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. Most recently, he starred in the 2017 film Life Itself.

Peyton List (Rowley Jefferson): Peyton List has gone on to have a successful career as both an actress and model. She starred in the Disney Channel series Jessie and currently stars on the hit show Fuller House.

 In addition to her acting work, she has also graced the covers of magazines like Teen Vogue and Cosmopolitan.
